The elected representatives of the Department of la Vienne announced, Thursday, that the direction of Pierre & Vacances group had chosen the North of the Department to establish a Center Park. "The Park will be constructed on the commune of les Trois-Moutiers and Morton on a forest all of 260 hectares of contiguous with a lake in the Middle, said Dominique Réant, Vice President of the General Council of the Vienna and General Counsel of the canton of les Trois-Moutiers." These lands have only a single owner, the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, which will facilitate the procurement process. 
Investment, according to officials, amounts to 300 million euros, 175 million for the construction of cottages 800 and 125 million for the leisure facilities, shops and the administration of the Park. Local communities take their charge servicing of the land and the implementation of the access of the Park, which represents an envelope of several tens of millions of euros. "In terms of employment, the construction of the Park represents 1,000 jobs during the eighteen months of work," adds the elected, while its operation will occupy 600 full-time, the Park to be open 365 days a year. With visitors, it will be permanently about 4,500 people on the site, which represents 1.2 million overnight stays annually.

Open to the outside
Center Park of the Vienna should be a Park open on the outside and tourist activities that propose the region, including the Futuroscope, located 60 km, next generation, which should develop common offers with the Park. "Employment benefits are not limited to the Vienna, the chosen site, North of Loudun, is adjacent the Deux-Sèvres, the Maine-et-Loire and Indre et Loire", says the Vice-President of the Department. "This geographical situation much weighed in the decision of Pierre & Vacances." We are at equal distance from Tours, Angers and Poitiers, but also the Futuroscope, the castles of the Loire and Puy-du-Fou.
Futuroscope is an asset
The direction of Center Parcs, Valérie Lauthier indicates that "nothing was definitive", stating that "an agreement for exclusive negotiations with the Department of la Vienne" has been passed by his group. "We still have to launch a phase of studies and it was only after their completion, by the end of the year, that we set." All terms and conditions remain to be defined.
